Pastors Danny & Jean Thornton are the founders and senior pastors of River of Life Church, a ministry of Solid Rock Outreach Ministries, and have been ministering in the Syracuse area for over 20 years. Their ministry began humbly as they served their pastor and eventually starting an outreach for those in need. They were soon released with hands laid on them to start an inner-city church in the heart of Syracuse. Against all odds, Solid Rock Family Church flourished into one of the most respected ministries in the Syracuse area. Today, as the Senior Pastor of River of Life Church, Pastor Danny has imparted his dynamic charisma in evangelising a lost world while demonstrating a lifestyle of humble servanthood. Responsible for establishing Solid Rock Outreach Ministries, Pastors Danny and Jean have given more than a million meals through the Food pantry and have led thousands to know Jesus Christ in a real and personal way. It is their sincere hope and desire to raise up a church that is wonderfully blended by culture, background and age; living and daily abiding in the River of Life.
