I hope you're all feeling the Father's love this summer! I've been fortunate to get away to the beach for a couple days. Seeing the sea is a great way to get a perspective. I'm so thankful for God's love in our lives. Despite all the times we fail, all the times we hurt others, the times we mis-represent Jesus, make mistakes, and grieve the Holy Spirit, God's love is still greater! What an amazing love that is. God loved us even when we were sinners (Romans 5:8).

He doesn't wait for us to clean ourselves up to love us. He sees us in our all-time lows, our darkest, ugliest, most embarrassing, and shameful times, and He still loved, loves and will love us; His love doesn't end (Psalm 136). His love is not like anything in this world. So, when we finally come back to God, we find that His love for us is greater and deeper than we realize (Ephesians 3:18). God is perfect, and His perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). When we experience God's love, we should have a different perspective. God has proven himself faithful, so there is nothing to fear! We already have concrete evidence (Christ's blood), but we get to experience His true love for us daily as we grow closer to God. We're only scratching the surface!
