Only You Jesus
Hey church,
I hope everyone had a relaxing Labor Day weekend! Mine was busy and laborious lol.
Acts 4:12 says: Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
People put their hope in many different things. We put hope in other people, money, success, relationships, our own abilities, our own plans for the future, etc. None of these are constant or continuous. If you put your hope in these things, sooner or later you will find out that they will never be enough to fulfill your life or sustain your purpose. There is only one who can – Jesus. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He consistently makes Himself present in our lives, reminding us that we are His children and that we are highly favored. He is there to catch us when our hope runs out, and gently lead us back to Him and His righteousness. He is there when we are weak and have no strength to carry on. He has proven that His love knows no bounds, giving up His life for our salvation. In those moments where nothing is working out and the world seems to crumble between our hands; Jesus holds all wisdom and His word brings clarity to every situation.
There is no one else who can save us. Who else is deserving of all the glory? Only Jesus. We worship not only for what God has done for us, but for who He is. He is the Savior, the King, the Truth and the Life. He is worthy!
