Anything Is Possible
Hey Church,
Matthew 19:26 says: " Jesus looked at them and said, with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
With the new year upon us, I've been thinking about what I want to accomplish and what is next for me and my family. It seems like my list of ambitions and dreams is growing and the time I have to accomplish them is shrinking. There are some things that are too big for me, I can't do them by myself. This is where I lean on God, the One who has been proven to do impossible things.
We live in a world defined by limits: "you're too young", "you're too old", "you'll be happy if ____", "I'll be successful when ____". These are all things that we are told on a regular basis, things that we have come to believe.
But our God is not defined by any such limit. He is limitless. He is not defined by statistics, diagnoses, or the past. The same God who parted the Red Sea, empowered David to defeat Goliath, brought dry bones to life and raised Jesus from the dead is still at work today. "Anything is possible" doesn't mean that our lives will be easy, or that our desires will be instantly granted. But if we seek God first and honor Him with our lives, then doors will be opened, and our ambitions will unfold in unexpected ways.
We shouldn't strive to live comfortable lives; we need to strive to see the impossible achieved. This can only be done when we lean on God and declare His power over every situation and impossibility we encounter. So, each day, bring what you've labeled "impossible" and lay it at His feet. Believe in His strength, not your own. Because when God is involved, nothing is out of reach.
