Hey Church,

I do appreciate Nate' s honesty and openness in sharing the word with River yesterday. He talked about surrender and what true freedom really is. It seems like such a strange thing to give up and win at the same time, to humble yourself and be raised up. This reminds me of a song that has been playing in spirit for a couple weeks now, Available, by Elevation worship. There is a part of the song where they sing "here I am, here I am...you can have it all, you can have it all." This is a song of complete surrender.

In our culture today one of the greatest barriers to our full surrender is giving up our time. We are so busy with work, school, family, ministry, putting out random fires in our lives and being distracted by our agendas and day-to-day flow. Our cell phones have us glued to them for hours and hours and we find it hard to spend any quality time with God. That is why being available is the ultimate surrender today. Turning off the noise and spending time with God and saying, "here I am, you can have it all." I don't need an app I need Jesus! I don't need to drone out, I need to tune in to what God has for me and what the Spirit of God is saying. Lord help is to be available! Available to listen. Available to worship and put the kingdom first. Available to do your will.

Psalm 46:10 ...“Be still, and know that I am God;"
