Hope you're enjoying the SON, haha. We've been exploring the depth of God's love the last couple weeks, and recently the topic was about our first love. To the world, first love is usually puppy-love or infatuation that's emotionally hyped-up. But when we go deeper, we realize that our first love is really to our creator, our loving father, whose love is deeper and wider and higher and further than anything this world can offer. There's a deep longing for belonging, for purpose, for relationship, for intimacy in all of us that only God can fill.

How grateful we should be that despite being sinners that God still loved us. He loves us so deeply that not even death itself can separate us from His love. I pray that with these songs that we open up to God and His overwhelming love. We need a deeper love, a fresh breath from the Holy Spirit. I don't want to leave the same! When Mary chose to focus on the presence of Jesus she was blessed. She received that one AND ONLY thing that can fulfill us - God's love. I pray that we have a deeper understanding and presence of God's love. A love that we can get lost in and causes us to change!
