Source of Life
Hey Church,
I hope you're having a blessed week! If you're not feeling blessed, I challenge you to ask yourself where blessings come from? As Pastor said, Acts 17:28 is the answer: ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’[a] As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ God is our source. Jesus also said in John 15:5 'I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.' So again, are we receiving all the blessings God has for us? Are connected to Him? Are we living and moving and abiding in Him? Apart from Him we can do nothing! We'll just shrivel up, producing no fruit - useless! I pray that we draw close to God, recognizing that he is our source for all of life. We must also recognize that we're His offspring, because we are in Him. Therefore we have the favor of His children, and God will always lead us in triumph!
