Victim or Victory
Hey Church,
I hope you're all living out the victorious lives that God call us to! I know that's easier said than done. We may not be in a literal foxhole (thank God!) but sometimes life beats us down just the same. We're usually in a foxhole because we choose to be. But we don't have to tackle all of life's challenges on our own. We have the Holy Spirit living inside us to empower us! The important thing is understanding that and applying it in our lives. We must continue to fight the good fight and press on despite life's hardships. Like I said, there will always be let downs, setbacks, disappointments, sickness, bills, flat-tires, storms and even death. The battlefield of life is covered with foxholes from all the bombs it likes to drop on us. But what is our approach? Have we let ourselves succumb to shellshock? Are we comfortable being victims for the rest of our lives, quivering in our pits, and repeating our pity-parties? We're usually in a foxhole because we choose to be.
Church, we need to realize that the undefeated, almighty God is with us, and he always will be. Lay down your fears, climb out of those foxholes, and charge to victory!
